Priced on decisions, not on clicks

An analysis ranks every comparable area in the country before it can report on the forty inside your radius, so that is what is metered. Reopening one, reusing an identical one, moving the weight sliders and comparing areas side by side all read what is already stored and cost nothing.

Payment is not switched on yet, so nothing here can be bought today. The allowances below are already enforced, and a plan can be granted directly while the pilot is running — get in touch and say which one you need.

What counts against an allowance

  • Market analyses. One per stored analysis. Reopening or reusing an identical analysis creates no new row and costs nothing, and a national screen is counted below rather than here.
  • Market reports. One per generated report, which stays readable forever once written.
  • National expansion screens. One per national screen. The most expensive single operation here: every metro area in the country ranked before the first row can be shown.

What does not

  • Reopening anything. A stored analysis or report is read, not recomputed.
  • Comparison. Putting two to four areas side by side reads figures that already exist and is unmetered on every plan, including free.
  • Weight sliders. Dragging them recomputes in the browser from the stored breakdown. Only saving the result as its own analysis counts.
  • Keeping your work. Analyses and reports stay readable after a plan ends or lapses. Nothing is deleted or hidden; only new work is gated.

Questions this page usually raises

Why is an analysis metered but comparison is not?

Cost, not value. A tract-level analysis computes percentile ranks for every comparable area in the frame — tens of thousands of them — before it can rank the forty you asked about. A comparison reads rows that already exist and adds them up. Charging for the second would be charging for arithmetic.

What happens when I hit an allowance?

New work is refused with a sentence saying which allowance and when it resets. Everything already produced stays exactly as readable as it was. No analysis is deleted, no report is hidden behind an upgrade, and reopening any of it is still free.

Is the free plan a trial?

No. It has no expiry and no card. It is small — enough to score a real market and read the findings behind it — and the reason it is small is that a tract-level run is genuinely expensive to compute, not that it is bait.

Why can I not buy a plan right now?

Payment is not connected. Rather than take a card into a flow that has not been exercised, plans are granted directly during the pilot. The allowances are enforced from this project’s own database either way, which is why the numbers above are real today.
